At RNB Technologies, we strive to maintain an excellent benefit package that will benefit you and your family, today, tomorrow, and years to come. Our comprehensive benefit package is offered to those committed to full-time employment. From health and savings plans to educational reimbursement and recruitment bonuses, RNB fosters growth professionally and personally. Below you will find highlights of RNB's benefit package. Benefit coverage begins on the 1st of the following month after their start date. Our benefit plans are reviewed on an annual basis and are subject to change.

Health Insurance

Our health care provider is Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Anthem offers three plans, KeyCare 30 (PPO), KeyCare 20 (PPO) and Healthkeepers 20 (HMO). The Healthkeepers 20 plan is only available to Virginia residents. The program provides routine wellness visits, doctor visits, outpatient services, care at home, and other needed services with associated co-pays responsible by the employee.

Through Anthem employees also receive $10,000 Life and AD&D coverage, $2,000/Spouse and $2,000/Child Dependent Life coverage. There is also Travel Assistance program, Resource Advisor program, and Blue View Vision program for basic eye care and eyewear discounts.

Anthem KeyCare 30 - RNB pays 100% of the premiums.

Anthem Healthkeepers 20 - RNB pays 100% of the premiums.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Through Anthem and Guardian, RNB offers an Employee Assistance Program that is available to the employees and their dependents. This program is a 24 hour, seven day a week, service to provide confidential help for a variety of problems to include marital/relationship or family problems, financial concerns, depression and anxiety, and many other areas of personal concern.

Vision Insurance

Our vision provider is Guardian. This plan provides coverage for all eligible employees and their dependents. RNB pays 100% of the premiums. Our vision insurance has in-network and out-of-network benefits so employees may select an eye care provider of their choice.

Dental Insurance

Our dental provider is Guardian. This plan provides coverage for all eligible employees and their dependents. RNB pays 100% of the premiums. Our dental insurance provides coverage for preventive, basic and major procedures as defined in the plan with a maximum benefit of $1,500 per calendar year.

Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability

Our short term disability (STD) and long term disability (LTD) provider is Guardian. This plan provides coverage for all eligible employees. RNB pays 100% of the premiums.

Group Life Insurance

Our group life provider is Guardian. This plan provides coverage for all eligible employees. RNB pays 100% of the premiums. The coverage is two times the employee’s annual salary with the maximum amount of $100,000 until age 65. Coverage is reduced after age 65.

401(k) Savings Plan

Our 401 (k) provider is Regions Morgan Keegan Trust. For the 2010 Plan Year, RNB will make 401 (k) Safe Harbor Matching Contribution to eligible participant accounts A Safe Harbor Matching Contribution will be made on your behalf in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of your Elective Deferrals that do not exceed 3% of your Compensation, and 50% of the amount of your Elective Deferrals that exceed 3% of your Compensation but that do not exceed 5% of your Compensation. All contributions are 100% vested when made.

The 2010 401(k) employee deferral limit is $16,500 and the catch-up contribution for employees over 50 years is an additional $5,500.

Transportation Fringe Benefit Plan

Our Transportation Fringe Benefit provider is Flexible Benefit Administrators. This plan allows eligible employees to set aside otherwise taxable compensation on a pre-tax basis for reimbursement of eligible transportation expenses. The 2010 allowable pre-tax amount for transit and vanpool commuters and parking is $230 per month.

Holidays

RNB provides 10 holidays per year. Nine of those holidays are company assigned dates and the remaining date is a “floating holiday” that is available for the employee to use at their discretion throughout the calendar year.

Personal Leave

Full-time employees accrue 10 hours per month for the first three years and 12 hours per month after three years. Personal leave is defined as time off used to the employee’s discretion for vacation, illness, and other personal reasons for leave.

Bereavement Leave

Employees are allowed to take up to three paid days of leave for the loss of an immediate family member as defined by Company policy.

Jury Duty Leave

Employees are paid for a maximum of 15 days of paid leave for jury duty. Jury duty is unavailable for employees on leave of absence. Employees are subpoenaed to court for jury duty while absent for a holiday or vacation may substitute jury duty leave and reschedule the vacation or holiday. The employee will receive regular rate of pay less any compensation received from the court.

Military Leave

RNB is committed to protecting the job rights of employees absent on military leave. In accordance with federal and state law, it is RNB’s policy that no employee or prospective employee will be subjected to any form of discrimination on the basis of that person’s membership in or obligation to perform service for any of the Uniformed Services of the United States. Our company policy covers both temporary (two-week paid leave) and all other (extended unpaid leave) military leave.
